Dreaming Julie formed by Feng Hao(Guitar/Sample/Laptop),Liu Pi(Drums/Percussion), Yang Tao(Bass) in 2015.
As an experimental music band and multi-media team, its creation includes traditional instrumental music, sound art, sample collage, audio-visual and other aspects. Dreaming Julie combines many styles of music including experimental music and free improvisation, and has plunderphonics with postmodern characteristics.

实验音乐人、声音艺术家。
以声音艺术与实验音乐为主要载体,作品多以声音、影像、行为等综合装置或项目的方式呈现。他分别以预置演奏、掠夺性采样拼贴和声音装置与声音行为媒介进行创作,同时也进入剧场、当代舞蹈和电影等领域,以声音、音乐、表演或视觉的方式参与各种综合类语汇的作品。
杨滔YangTao
独立贝司手。
毕业于现音爵士贝司专业。多以低音吉他、电贝斯等各类低音弦乐器为主要载体,进行非线性时值、低音音程及声音属性的探索。其个人作品主要运用全方位的贝斯技巧与复合型节奏相组合的手法,亦包含Jazz、Funk、Fusion、Indiy等多风格的融合。并在人声与SOLO音型的同步化方面进行实践。

发梦茱莉由三名多栖艺术家冯昊、刘㔻、杨滔,2015年成立于北京,其创作不断尝试解构传统与实验的边界,并将视听觉等多媒介融合一体化。发梦茱莉游走于世,又游离于世,以旁观者的眼光、采样拼贴的手段和融合爵士、实验、电子、摇滚的音乐技术创造着浮世绘式的当代现实配乐。作为少有的美术馆演出常客,发梦茱莉正在宣告一个以风格定义作品类型、以标签固化创作者的时代的终结。
要理解《发梦茱莉》,那么就要忘记发梦茱莉。忘记一个乐队的存在,看到一套用声音完成的现实再现体系。换言之,《发梦茱莉》 是一张巨大的OST,整个世界是他们编排的巨幕影片。为现实制造配乐,严肃、紧张、团结。放弃风格是必然的,风格成为了手段,手段被保留,被淬炼,被发扬光大,造就了一发不可收拾的当代现实配乐大保健巨制《发梦茱莉》。
Founded by artists Feng Hao, Liu Pi and Yang Tao in 2015 in Beijing, Dreaming Julie has been contriving to deconstruct the boundaries of the traditional and the experimental, while largely integrating multiple media to their musical expression. Bold, radical, cynical and subjectively objective, they maneuver all means available, especially the so-called plunder phonics, and fuse techniques of Jazz, Experimental, Electronic and Rock to create a Ukiyoe-style soundtrack-type music for our modern world. The artistic facade of Dreaming Julie’s expression made them a frenquently-invited group to perform in art museums, with some iconic exhibitions. Consistently obscuring the boundaries, Dreaming Julie is making an announcement that genres and labels are no longer the limiter of musicians, even music itself should not stand on the way.
In album Dreaming Julie, the real world expands gradually, in a manner of highly extraction. To understand the album Dreaming Julie, we must forget the band Dreaming Julie. Forgetting the band, so you may explore a set of system that reproduces the absurd reality with all means of sounds. In other words, the album Dreaming Julie is an immense OST for a world arranged by the band Dreaming Julie. Seriousness, tightness and unity embodies the whole album, of which abandoning almost all present styles is inevitable. Styles and skills have become the means to produce music, and the means are retained, refined, even carried forward, creating the amazing “massage” masterpiece of the soundtrack for contemporary reality – the album Dreaming Julie.
